To mark the pre-order we are releasing the first song from the album. The song is entitled I’m Alive. It is a song I wrote to celebrate and give thanks for life. Self-produced and recorded with my band the Rebelship at my friend Nitin Sawhney’s Studio. It was the first song we recorded for this album back in 2010, but I can still remember like it was yesterday, going till 4 in the morning, just me and drummer Toby figuring out the beat pattern at the end of the song. The whole thing started with the guitar line taken straight out of the African spirit and now it has transformed into becoming a mainstay in our live shows. It is only fitting that it is the first song on the album. Giving thanks for life is the start of the my personal journey of Releasing The Fear. It is accompanied by a Music Video with my long-time art and visual collaborator ninety- http://bit.ly/1PGNSgC and the greatly talented animator Tajinder Dhami – www.stanthersink.com Click the visual to play the video…

Gaia sees the return of Natty. And what a return it is!
The song was written about some of the journeys Natty took, where he met a holy man in Africa, drank firewater in Jamaica, and met “Gaia” through a South American herb.
Gaia is a subtly heady summer track, featuring his full band The Rebelship. Soul-stirring bass and delicate horns make way for Natty’s inimitable song-smithery and hypnotic vocals.
The video was shot in Morocco and is a narrative of Natty’s journeys summarised in an emotive piece of cinematography.
Gaia will be available for purchase on digital download and vinyl very soon.
