Humanitarian Work

Natty is passionate about making a difference, both here and abroad. Working with young people and the poorest communities is very important to him. Here are some of the things Natty is up to:

ERASE Foundation

Natty is a trustee and member of the ERASE Foundation. ERASE stands for Ending Reliance And Supporting Empowerment. The full name of our small charity is ERASE Foundation and was set up by Natty’s elder Alwyn Simpson and his wife Jacqui in 2007. Natty and the team at vibes and Pressure have been contributing monthly towards the upkeep of an orphanage in gambia, as well as assisting Alwyn, the director with whatever we can. Our main objective at the charity is to provide resources and assistance to communities in South and West Africa. Our approach is to provide the resources and let the villagers do the work. In this way, we hope to end the awful and demeaning dependency culture that currently exists in poor communities around Africa

The issues they tackle include social exclusion, homelessness and gang involvement. They provide activities, opportunities and support as well as an out of hours phone line and access to additional services provided by our partners in education, health, housing and general advice.
